SYPX high-precision line completes capacity expansion

With two additional gear grinding stations and an independent inspection line, standard SYPX lead times have been reduced from four weeks to under two weeks, with custom lead times also improved.
The expansion also increases capacity for the smaller 42–60 frame sizes, which were previously often delayed by production scheduling.

Choosing a planetary reducer for AGV travel drives

The most common AGV sizing mistake is choosing by rated torque alone, ignoring acceleration torque from frequent start-stop and radial load at the shaft extension.
This note gives a practical calculation order based on load spectrum, duty cycle and installation envelope.

Backlash, accuracy and rigidity — how to balance them

Many sizing dilemmas come from equating low backlash with high accuracy. The two are related but not the same, and rigidity is often what actually determines positioning performance.
We explain the relationship using three real applications.

What humanoid robot joints demand from planetary drives

Compared with traditional industrial robots, humanoid joints demand higher power density, more consistent backlash and better shock tolerance, while being extremely weight-sensitive.
We summarise the viable technical routes and their trade-offs.
